2016 Orange Crush S
The steadfast Orange Crush gets a major update for 2016. We’ve taken the frame we love and pushed the features forward to up the fun factor without upsetting the function.
Most obviously, the rear triangle now features a bolt-through axle, adding even more stability to what was already a rigid design. A confident handling 66° headangle along with the Crush’s new longer toptube design that adds an extra few millimetres means, size for size, a 50mm stem puts the rider right where they need to be (with tuning to taste as required, of course) for direct input and weight distribution. While shorter chainstays make climbing a tad sweeter, tyre clearance has been increased so that a chunky 2.4 tyre fits nicely.

LOVELO CYCLE WORKS is located in the centre of Berkhamsted and accessed via the service road next to Bill’s and opposite WH Smith. Berkhamsted is located on the A41 dual carriageway which provides access to the M25 (Junction 20) approximately 8 miles to the east and westwards to Aylesbury. The town is also served by the mainline railway (London Euston approximately 35 minutes) with the station being only a few minutes walk from the property.
Berkhamsted is a key Gateway to the Chilterns AONB, being on the 170 mile Chilterns Cycleway circular route and is on the doorstep to the National Trust’s Ashridge Estate, which is popular with both on and off-road cyclists. We are also a short drive away from Aston Hill Bike Park and the family popular Wendover Woods.
Pop in for a chat and a cuppa and enjoy cycling as it’s meant to be. FUN! We have very limited space to park on site so we would be really grateful if you could park on the High St, in the public car park behind Tesco or on a side road (where its free!). If you have multiple bikes to drop off or the other options are not convenient, we have a drop off area at the Works, but this can be congested. Please respect our neighbour’s private parking areas.
